As you already know the members of Team Orange are not only engaged in this body fat percentage contest but also we (me included) are preparing for the Rugged Maniac competition in September. Conveniently these two goals are related; you will run faster and put less stress on your joints if you minimize your non lean mass and of course the training we will be doing in preparation for the Rugged Maniac will help to speed-up your metabolism while also burning lots of calories.
You have all heard me emphasizes the importance of diet on not only how you look, but how you feel and perform as well. I urge you to use the Y Weight Challenge as an opportunity to learn as much as you can about the best ways to fuel for your body. Everybody is different so please take into consideration your own specific needs and lifestyle and ask questions that will help you modify the information given to best fit you.
